pulau tekong is really a very cool place! went there yesterday with my younger brother to watch my elder brother's passing-out-parade. took a bus to pasir ris interchange and queued up with the many many people who were already lining up to take the shuttle bus to the ferry terminal. me and my brother felt quite awkward cos most of the people there are parents. haha. anyway, the ferry was unexpectedly big and comfortable. okay lah it's not really big, but the seats are quite comfortable! there's even aircon and tv and all. lol okay, actually the word 'ferry' says it all lah. lol. it was drizzling when we reached there. and unfortunately, it started pouring heavily when the soldiers marched out! it's damn sad to see them march in the heavy rain. so poor thing lol. then all of us started clapping and cheering for them. my brother's in pegasus company but his squad is like standing at the back row. so i couldnt spot him at all. even during the march-past, i couldnt find him also. then my younger brother and i were debating over which is him. in the end both of us spotted the wrong one. cos they all looked the same with the helmet and uniform. LOL. after their march-past, they asked the parents to go down to wear the cap for their son. so we went down and my brother wore it for him, while i took pictures. haha. there were some who stood there for so long but nobody came to wear the cap for them. damn sad. i asked my brother what will happen to them and he said then they got no choice but to wear it themselves -____- lol. the whole thing ended at five. but guess what, we stayed there and waited until 8.30pm before we could board the ferry back. cos there was this eight vehicle accident at loyang, so the shuttle buses got caught in the jam too. delaying everybody else. somemore my brother's company was the last to leave. so.. by the time we reached pasir ris, it was already 9.30pm?! he wanted to treat us to coffee club at first but it was already closing. so we settled down at kfc instead -____- lol. but anyway thanks for the treat. first time eh! i'm so surprised. hahaha jkjk XD
